3 incredible one-pan breakfasts

March 17, 2017 • In Egg, Breakfast & brunch,

When it comes to a cooking a breakfast, simplicity is key. Any recipe for beautifully cooked eggs with a few simple flavours gets our vote – and if it requires minimal washing up, even better! Here are three delicious one-pan breakfast egg recipes.

SCRAMBLED EGG OMELETTE

Based on the amazing Japanese Omurice, this is a seemingly traditional omelette, but cut into it to discover a delicious, silky scrambled egg filling! Served on a lush fresh tomato salad and drizzled with chilli dressing, this dish will wake you up whatever time of day you eat it.

MIDNIGHT ONE-PAN BREAKFAST

Everybody loves a good old fashioned fry-up, and after a night on the town it’s the perfect pick-me-up. Smoky bacon, quality sausages, sweet tomatoes and farm fresh eggs all cooked in one pan – serve with buttered bread and lashings of ketchup.

Duck eggs are larger, richer and creamier than hen’s eggs, which contrasts beautifully with the freshness of the peas and broad beans in this frittata and means you don’t need to use as many! The goat’s cheese and Jersey Royal potatoes make this recipe extra special.
