Ingredients

zest and juice of 2 oranges

4 tbsp smooth orange marmalade

250ml Martini bitter

1 bottle of Martini Prosecco, chilled

Method

Deep, bitter and sparkling, this is Christmas in a glass – for the cynical and humorous among us! Part way between a mimosa and a negroni, this is a great drink to kick off some festive fun.

  1. Pop the orange zest and juice and marmalade in a small pan over a low heat. Stir together, then simmer for 5 minutes until it forms a smooth syrup. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a jug, mix the cooled syrup with the Martini Bitter, and pour a little into the bottom of the champagne saucers.
  3. Top with chilled Prosecco and a sliver of orange peel.
